I am still in shock. I just found out on Monday in Phillip's office. My daughter, Angelica, drove me to my appointment and we both let out a gasp of disbelief when Phillip told us. We knew of her illness but in recent conversation with her were made comfortable in the knowledge (as only Audrey could do)that all would be well. Our hearts go out to you, Sam, and your children and grandchildren. I just told my sister, Kathy, and she shares our sorrow. Audrey Lou was such a positive, loving force in our teenage years. I always looked up to her and feel ever so thankful and blessed to have had her in my life. She is one of those people that God sends to you that leave a footprint on your soul. Imagine the joy I felt in recent years when Angelica told me that she loved Audrey Lou and that she was such a special person in HER life, as well.Know that Audrey touched so many lives in a way that only she could in her short time with us here. I was deeply saddened to learn of Mrs. Iaquinto's passing. She made a huge difference in my life as a teacher and person at my time at St. Anthony's in the 80's. As others have stated I was a better student and person just from being around her. She truly had class and made sure that you knew that she believed in you. I will always be grateful for her contribution to my life and I hope you are able to find peace during this difficult time.

To the Iaquinto Family, You have my deepest sympathy , I had the wonderful pleasure of having her as my 8th grade teacher at St. Anthony in 1994 . My class was the last class to graduate . She was a wonderful woman that had so much style and grace. I will always be grateful for her she was one of the best teachers I had. She always encouraged you to read I can hear her saying this. I adored Audrey my whole life and wanted her as my second mother. Her daughter was my first friend. Our mothers were best friends when we were born and we carried on their legacy with a frienship that has lasted over 40 years. I will remember Audrey as a gentle soul who always made me feel listened to and highly regarded. She has instilled the love of children and teaching in her daughter and me. I only wished she could have enjoyed her new grandchildren. Thank you Audrey. The world is a lesser place without you.

I will miss my dearest friend of 43 years. Audrey and I go back to Dearborn, Mi. where she and Sam were to move in the same flat as me and Bob. They were married on the same day as I had my second Daughter (Jennifer). We became the best of friends and maintained our friendship over many miles thru out the years.I will never forget our great times together. So sorry for all of our loses. She was a kind and wonderful person.
